Mn Zn class: (70% Fe2O3 17% MnO 13% ZnO) This material has strong conductivity and generally requires insulation coating. The coating layer is generally green, and the material selection is usually based on characteristic requirements. For larger sensitivities, Mn Zn material is usually selected. Mn Zn material is prone to magnetic saturation, which means IDC1 is very small. Check the corresponding inductance coefficient (AL value) through the manufacturer's product catalog, and then use the formula L=AL N² Calculate the required number of turns. The characteristics of Mn Zn material are unstable, and the sensitivity range is usually set at 30% or more! This material is significantly affected by external temperature and pressure, so we usually set the sensitivity to XXuH MIN when making this type of sample. If the customer has a sensitivity range requirement, we must use self drying adhesive (1005A/1005B) to fix the base or partition, and remember not to bake!

This type of material is commonly used in high-sensitivity ring inductors. It is also widely used in filters composed of EI, EE, UU type magnetic cores, high-frequency transformers, etc; DR CORE is occasionally useful

  

Mn Zn based materials have high ui values, making them suitable for low coil high inductance (ring inductance with current resistance difference). The ui value is commonly represented by Rxx, for example, R2.5K represents a ui value of 2500 Also commonly used are R5K, R7K, R8K, R10K, R12K, R15K, etc Even if the material has the same UI value and its specifications and sizes are different, the reflected Al value also varies, and the Al value is directly proportional to its effective cross-sectional area

Mn Zn material generally has a very small surface impedance, almost equivalent to a good conductor of electricity, so this type of material must have a good insulation layer to isolate the coil body, otherwise it is prone to high-voltage breakdown between the primary coils The characteristics of Mn Zn materials, especially high UI materials, are significantly influenced by temperature and stress, and there is no fixed pattern to follow. After baking at 100 ℃ to 130 ℃, their L value generally increases by 10-15%

The Mn Zn ferrite material series is a high-frequency and low-power material characterized by low power consumption under high-frequency and high magnetic flux density conditions. This material is mainly used in switching power supplies, main transformer power supplies, main transformers and televisions, calculator displays, and transformer cores for CRT tubes.

Ni Zn

This type of material is widely used in CHOKE type inductance coils. Its main component is iron oxide, with a small amount of trace elements such as zinc oxide, nickel oxide, copper oxide, cobalt oxide, etc. It has stable characteristics and small variability. The manufacturing processes of various cooperative manufacturers have become proficient, and the price is relatively low. It is the preferred magnetic core for ordinary choke coils. Due to the different trace elements, this type of material presents different characteristics

Ni Zn magnetic rings are usually not colored and require impedance measurement, i.e. Z-value. Sometimes sensitivity is also required. We don't use many Ni Zn magnetic rings in our factory. Generally, they are BEAD types such as RH, R6H, RID, etc., with the main supplier being Unimagnetic. TOROID products sometimes also use Ni Zn materials. Generally painted green, the color is the same as MN-ZN material, and attention should be paid to differentiation.

Ni Zn material has a high surface impedance and is an electrical insulator used for EMI anti magnetic interference (low-frequency low impedance, high-frequency high impedance)

Ni Zn materials generally have low saturation beam density (BS) and high coercivity (HC), which cannot withstand large currents and excessive hysteresis losses, and have high surface impedance.

MPP class

MPP CORES iron nickel molybdenum metal magnetic powder core

MPP is composed of 81% Ni, 2% Mo, and Fe powder. The main characteristics are: the saturation magnetic induction intensity value is around 7500Gs; The magnetic permeability ranges from 14 to 550; Low loss in powder magnetic cores; Excellent temperature stability, widely used in space equipment, outdoor equipment, etc; The magnetostriction coefficient is close to zero, and there is no noise generated when operating at different frequencies. Mainly used in high-quality factor Q filters below 300kHz, inductive load coils, resonant circuits, commonly used in LC circuits with high temperature stability requirements, output inductors, power factor compensation circuits, etc., commonly used in AC circuits, but expensive in powder cores.

This type of material is generally represented as CMXXX XXX. This material IDC1 is very good and is commonly used as an inductor that requires high current resistance. It is expensive and usually has a low inductance coefficient. The appearance of the material is different from other materials. Generally, there is printing on the coating layer, where the first three digits represent the outer diameter size of the CORE, and the last three digits represent the UI value of the CORE

Mainly used in: high Q filters, load coils, resonant circuits, RF interference filters, transformers, chokes, differential mode inductor filters, DC bias output filters.

Sendust iron silicon aluminum magnetic powder core

The iron silicon aluminum powder core is composed of 9% Al, 5% Si, and 85% Fe powder. Mainly used as a replacement for iron powder cores, with a loss 80% lower than that of iron powder cores, and can be used at frequencies above 8kHz; The saturation magnetic induction is around 1.05T; The permeability ranges from 26 to 125; The magnetostriction coefficient is close to 0, and there is no noise generated when operating at different frequencies; Has higher DC bias capability than MPP; Has excellent performance to price ratio. Mainly used in AC inductors, output inductors, line filters, power factor correction circuits, etc. Sometimes it also replaces air gap ferrite as a transformer core.

The appearance representation method of this type of circular magnetic ring is basically the same as that of MPP material, except that it is painted in black and the beginning of the printing is:

High Flux nickel iron magnetic powder core

It is composed of 50% Ni and 50% Fe powder. The main characteristics are: the saturation magnetic induction intensity value is around 15000Gs; The magnetic permeability ranges from 14 to 160; High saturation magnetic induction intensity and high DC bias capability in powder magnetic cores; The magnetic core has a small volume. Mainly used in line filters, AC inductors, output inductors, power factor correction circuits, etc., it is commonly used in DC circuits, with high DC bias, high DC power, and low AC power. The price is lower than MPP.

Starting with the letter CHXXX XXX, it is mainly used in line noise filters, switch adjusted inductors, pulse transformers, and flyback transformers.
